Best Herbal Remedies For Anxiety And Panic Attacks
Over the last couple years of my life I have been developing more and more panic and anxiety attacks due to the amount of stress in my every day life, and since I am into alternative medicines I like to use natural herbal remedies to help relieve my stress from my every day life so I do not have panic or anxiety attacks. For those of you out there suffering from panic and anxiety attacks due to stress, or even depression and sadness, I have found and done some research, and even tried myself some of the best herbal remedies out there to help ease away panic and anxiety attacks.
The first herbal medicine I will tell you a little bit about that seems to help with mild panic and anxiety attacks caused by stress and depression is St. John’s Wort. A few years ago I had some mild depression that caused me to be sad all the times, and made me really fatigue and annoyed at life in general. I didn’t want to go on any prescription drugs because they tend to have some serious side effects such as becoming addicted to them. Well at the time I was studying herbal medicine and discovered St. John’s Wort and asked an herbalist about the herb and did some research. It turns out St. John’s Wort was used to help ease away mild depression because it contains chemicals in it called hyperforin and hyperacid, which helps cause a placebo effect causing less serotonin being released into a person body, which basically helps them to become happy again. St. John’s Wort comes in the form of teas and herbal supplements pill that can be taken daily to help ease panic and anxiety attacks, however I would recommend you talk to your doctor first before taking this herbal remedy to help ease your panic and anxiety attacks that are cause by your mild depression and stress because it may interact with a drug you may already be on. Some other things to think about when taking St. John’s Wort is it does contain some side effects like if you take to much of it, it can be toxic, and make your skin and eyes sensitive to lights. I know St. John’s Wort worked well for me, but after awhile of using it, it kind of began to upset my stomach and I had become really sensitive to sunlight, but over all it did help ease my mild depression and eased away my panic and anxiety attacks.
